- ListApps v1.0 Documentation
- =================================
-
- Please distribute this text document along with ListApps, when you pass it
- along to your friends and associates.
-
- ListApps quickly produces a list of all applications, inits and cdevs on a
- disk. Use it to rapidly browse a volume for “lost” or “hidden” programs.
-
- Registration Info
- =================
-
- This is SHAREWARE! It is not free, or public domain. The price is $5!
-
- I am trying to avoid the inconvenience and expense of commercial
- advertising and distribution, by making this program available through the
- shareware “try before you buy” route. Please note the three (3) day trial
- period. There's nothing complicated about this very useful utility, no tricky
- features it would take time to master. You should know immediately
- whether you'd rather send the money, or trash the program.
-
- To register your copy of ListApps, send your check or money order for $5.00
- to:
-
- SK Hushing III (ListApps 1.0)
- PO Box 9745
- San Diego, California 92169
-
- Thanks in advance for showing the consideration and honesty to become a
- registered user.
-
- Usage Hints
- ===========
-
- Run ListApps. After the introductory window comes up (have you sent your
- $5.00 yet?), click in the window to make it go away.
-
- Next you are presented with a standard file open dialog box. The only type
- of file you can open is a Desktop file. Choose the Desktop file on the volume
- for which you would like to see an application/init/cdev list.
-
- When the list is ready, you are presented with a dialog box which contains
- the scrolling list. If you click on a specific file name, then the file creator
- signature is displayed, as is the full path name to the file. The path name is
- very handy for finding “lost” or “hidden” applications.
-
- Version Information
- ===================
-
- Version 1.0 is the first public release. Several pre-release versions
- preceeded it.
